If your faith in God is not tested, then you will not see victory. Before every victory, there is always a victim. Most victims whose focus is on the ultimate goal always have testimonies of victory. It is not enough to have a dream . What price will you pay for your dream? If you must get gold, it must go through the crucible and the crucible is always scorching. The raw material goes through it (the crucible) again and again and again and when it has come out of that chamber, it becomes a pure gold.

The greatest enemy to your dream is not hunger. Neither is it poverty. The greatest enemy to your dream is not lack of support or patronage. Now hear this:
The greatest enemy to your dream is DISCOURAGEMENT.

Any man or woman who is discouraged in the pursuit of a dream loses the qualification and capacity to fulfil that dream.Every time you say with your mouth “I believe God”, the devil challenges that statement. If you say “I believe God to be a Gospel star”, he challenges your statement. If you say “I believe God to be a great business man” he challenges that statement. If you say I believe God to be a great public servant “he challenges that statement. And guess what: God will always permit him to challenge that statement. So if you have a dream and a belief in a particular direction, you must prove it. How do you prove it? You work at your dream. And this must be done consistently giving no room for excuses.

Paul said in Philippians 3:13 &14 King James Version (KJV)

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

“I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

The words by apostle Paul, “I count not myself to have apprehended”, could be interpreted to mean , ” I do not consider myself to have achieved anything .. Now this was someone who wrote three quarter of the New Testament and as at the time of writing had established most of the churches mentioned in the New Testament. Now here him rubbishing little successes . It is easy to rest on your oars after a little victory. The problem with most of us is that we “arrive” too early. Quit self contentment after a little progress. Learn from Paul. He said: ( paraphrase) I do not consider myself to have achieved any thing, but he said this is one thing I do . ” I press ” yes !! We must press for the mark. We must press for the ultimate victory. We must cross the rubicon. We must develop targets to meet daily or weekly or monthly no matter the height we have attained. Let us learn from Jesus, who for the glory that was ahead of him, despised the shame of the cross.

Nothing is too big to sacrifice for your dream.

I have made sacrifices to see FOGMMON see the light of day but Inspite of all the scathing remarks, criticisms, sceptical comments, derision, blackmail disparagement, insinuations and sometime outright insults from juniors, I have never been staggered for once. I have continued to remain dogged and uncompromising in my Militant posture and pursuit towards the realization of this dream and I urge you to do same to every dream in your heart . Your dreams will respond to you. Dreams can’t resist persistence and consistencies.Even the little success of the last National Congress is not worthy to diminish the passion and the enthusiasm with which I am going to approach this vision henceforth. And do you know what? It is positively rubbing off on my private pursuits. I will continue to press towards the mark of the prize of a higher calling in Jesus Name.

“It is not enough to do the right thing, but doing the right thing long enough.” Many of us are doing the right thing. But we give up on the right thing far too early before the result is achieved. Keep on pressing until the right action, attitude, custom, routine gives the ultimate outcomes. God bless.
